hi hello! i’m thrilled that you’re here to write some words for me, and i’m sure i’ll be stoked by whatever you decide to create. ahead is a little bit of rambling for each of my requests, but please don’t feel obligated to heed any of my specific Thoughts — they’re just there in case some vague prompting is useful, not to box you into any particular story. the only thing that really matters to me is my dnws, so i’ll go ahead and start with those—

the dnws: graphic depictions of sexual assault or suicide (references are fine); pregnancy/child-rearing as a focus if not a part of canon; specific ship/character bashing that is more meta than it is a canonical opinion of the character whose perspective you’re writing. if you decide you’d like to include smut (not at all a thing that’s needed! only here if that’s your vibe!), kinks that are not for me include: bestiality, bodily fluids, daddy/mommy kink, A/B/O, dub/noncon.

and here’s just a random array of things i’m into, but only in case you find that useful (and i love plenty more!): found families, banter, digging into/exploring the depths/nuances of characters in believable ways, assholes who like each other a lot, any kind of AU you can imagine (superheroes, office jobs, pirates, harry potter, a world with daemons, d&d or general magic shit, things in space, the universe of any fandom i’m into, etc. etc.), accidental domesticity, casual intimacy, fake dating, secret dating, polyamory was the answer all along assholes, characters relearning each other, a focus on choice, AND SO ON.

so like!!! i love them. i love this exploration of two women at war with each other because their world demands it of them. i love the years and years of layered history between them, and how messy and tragic it all is — i love this idea of understanding so much about someone, and revisiting what it means to have understood all those things while also violently opposed to them, while also still burying affection for them somewhere beneath the surface. truly give me anything here. give me alicent and rhaenyra finding their way back to each other, and inverting the course of history; give me alicent and rhaenyra finding in a universe where they weren’t born into these families; give me some ridiculous au, with pirates or spaceships or superpowers or ANYTHING. give me these two realizing they can stand together against the world, or give me the tragedy of being known by the person who might be your undoing. childhood friends to crushes to step relatives to enemies to lovers supremacy!!!!!

okay so 1. i’ve also watched all of campaign 1 (not yet read kith & kin, but feel free to incorporate or not incorporate what we’re you’d like), so you’re welcome to explore these characters absolutely however you wish, and however suits you, and 2. i’m happy to experience all iterations of these characters — my favorites are keyleth/vex/vax, keyleth/vex, and vex/vax or vex&vax. the ot3 can be all of them involved together or keyleth dating/in love with both of them and what navigating that looks like, or something in between. if you lean hard into keyleth/vax, i’m also down to read them, although i’d love if vex could have any kind of place in that story too? (spoiler alert i really love vex!) character studies of any of them would also be very fun so don’t hesitate to dig in if you’d prefer some solo fic!! honestly i would be delighted by anything: give me keyleth/vex grieving together, and understanding the experience in a way no one else really can; give me early vex and vax, learning to survive together; give me a modern au where vex is struggling to come to grips with vax’s focus shifting to someone else for the first time in their little codependent lives only to accidentally (inexplicably!!!!) fall in love with the object of vax’s affection herself; give me something canon divergent, where vex and/or vax find/s keyleth outside of vox machina. invent a new history! invent a new future! go canon divergent after the whitestone arc! the world is your oyster deliver it to me however best suits you

here’s the thing: it’s been a while since i’ve watched, and i never fully completed the series, and i know by the end of it dutch/delle seyah was a very niche ship for obvious reasons, but i never was quite able to get over them, so this is an invitation to please do whatever you will with them. if you’d prefer to write solo fic, i’m good with that! if you’d prefer to explore what kind of dynamic they might have that isn’t romantic/sexual, that’s cool too! or you can deliver me some early season banter/ust or they can make absolutely terrible choices and probably sleep together, or there can be some fun forced-to-work-together (even fake dating?) content. or just go wild and give me any kind of au! idk i just think even in 2022 there can always be more of them in the way tyfyt
